Good Design Award 2020 for WILCO NEO DPX

The CCI Laboratory Tester NEO DPX from WILCO AG has been honored with the Good Design Award in the category Industrial 2020 by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design.

GOOD DESIGN® is the world's most prestigious, recognized and oldest design award program, organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies and Metropolitan Arts Press, Ltd.

WILCO AG is proud to have received the 2020 Good Design Award for the CCI Laboratory Tester NEO DPX in the Industrial category.

The NEO DPX is designed for leak testing of various packaging and product types and sizes. With three differential pressure and vacuum methods in one system, the NEO DPX offers improved sensitivity with the latest technology. The compact and modern design was developed by Design Tech in Ammerbuch, Germany and equipped by WILCO engineers with the new user interface MAVIS and the latest inspection technologies. The basic principle of pneumatic leak testing, which is carried out using vacuum and pressure, has been retained. The further development has resulted in a significant increase in sensitivity. This allows even smaller leaks to be detected in containers in an even shorter time.

The laboratory tester features a simple, guided menu structure that ensures process reliability. The operator is guided step by step through the menu. This allows for a consistent and user-independent test. The integrated drawer system for loading and unloading the containers enables operation using only one hand and a format change for a wide range of pharmaceutical containers within a few seconds.
